The mountains are home before they are work.
I grew up on Issyk-Kul and have guided across the Tien Shan for more than 15 years. I plan each journey with you, then lead it myself.
A local guide, year-round
I know these routes because I live here.
I was born and raised by Issyk-Kul. For more than 15 years, I have led travelers through Kyrgyzstan on foot, horseback and skis, as well as regulated hunting expeditions in season.
The lake, the passes and the jailoo pastures are part of daily life. That local knowledge shapes every trip: when to move, when to wait, and when a different route will make the day better.
A route can be copied from a map. Judgment comes from years in the mountains.

Read the conditions
Snow, rain and road conditions can change a route. I plan around what the mountains are doing when you arrive—not a schedule written months earlier.
Set the right pace
A good day in the mountains is not the longest one. I watch how the group is moving, especially at altitude, and adjust before fatigue becomes a problem.
Keep it personal
You speak with me while planning, and I lead the trip. There is no sales handover and no guide assigned after you book.
Ways to travel
Private journeys, shaped around your dates.
Most guests are couples, families, solo travelers or small groups of friends. The route, pace and places you stay are planned around the group—not pulled from a fixed package.
- Horse trekking to Song-Kul and along Issyk-Kul

- Winter ski touring around Karakol and Jyrgalan

Safety
Clear decisions, even when the answer is no.
Groups stay small. We acclimatize before sleeping high, use drivers and vehicles I know, and change the route when weather or trail conditions demand it. Ask about first aid, insurance or emergency procedures and I will answer plainly.
Communication
Start with the language you are comfortable using.
Kyrgyz and Russian are the languages of daily life here. Tell me your preferred language when you write, and I will be clear about how we will communicate during the trip.

Directly. There is no booking engine and no deposit funnel on this site. You message me — WhatsApp is fastest — with your rough dates and the kind of trip you have in mind. I come back with questions, then a tailored program with route, pacing and costs. When it looks right to both of us, we fix the dates. That is the whole process.
